DR. TIM SULLIVAN
Dr. Tim Sullivan

Veterinarian

Dr. Tim Sullivan attended Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was very active in several organizations, such as the Student Chapter of the Disaster Animal Response Team (SCDART). Dr. Sullivan had additional training in dentistry, anesthesiology, and preventative medicine. Preventative medicine, he believes, is key to our pet’s health. It enables us, as veterinary professionals, to diagnose potential health concerns early. Dr. Sullivan is also a Cat-Friendly Veterinarian, dedicated to providing a stress-free and compassionate experience for feline patients.

DR. DANIEL WESTPHAL
Dr. Daniel Westphal
Veterinarian

Dr. Daniel Westphal joined the GCVC family in July 2017. He graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, following an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He was a small animal tracker in veterinary school, specializing in canine and feline medicine. He has an interest in preventative and internal medicine. Whenever he’s not at the clinic, Dr. Westphal enjoys exploring the outdoors and watching live music.

DR. DANIEL WESTPHAL
Dr. Marisa Romagnuolo
Veterinarian

Dr. Marisa Romagnuolo graduated with her DVM from the University of Calgary in 2024. She is interested in preventative health, surgery, and increasing access to care. Prior to attending veterinary school, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in biological sciences. She lives with her 3 dogs (Dogbert, Rilo, and Lavender), her ball python (Lucy), and her savannah monitor (Ponyo). Outside of work, she enjoys being outside in the sun, reading a new book, or doing a dance class.

DR. DANIEL WESTPHAL
Dr. Pamela Leskow

Veterinarian

Originally from Poland, Dr. Leskow earned her veterinary degree in Europe before completing the rigorous process to obtain her U.S. licensure. Drawn by the coastal charm of Charleston, she relocated to the area with her spouse and their two beloved dogs. Dr. Leskow has special interests in cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine, and she is deeply committed to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, she prioritizes a calm, low-stress environment and believes in clear, compassionate client education. Dr. Leskow looks forward to partnering with you to ensure your pets live happy, healthy lives.

Kyle

Practice Manager

Kyle is the practice manager of Goose Creek and Ladson Veterinary Hospital. Heh as worked in the veterinary industry for over 15 years. In April of 2020, he achieved his CVPM certification after 3 years of directly overseeing the required 40 aspects of veterinary practice and passing the CVPM exam. On the job he is passionate about working to maintain practice culture, client compliance, and driving profitability. Outside of work he enjoys traveling and graphic design.

Tiffany W
Assistant Practice Manager

Tiffany is Kyle’s right-hand woman and serves as the Assistant Practice Manager. She began her veterinary career in June 2015, though her love for animals started when she was just 3 or 4 years old. Tiffany has two children, Hayleigh and Raymond, and three furbabies—Spooks, Ruby, and Jax. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her kids. A big beach lover, she also enjoys crafting in her spare time.

Danarae

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Danarae has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2013 and loves the diverse opportunities veterinary medicine offers. With experience across many areas of small animal care, including general practice, specialty, and emergency medicine, she has developed a well-rounded skill set. She currently lives with her boyfriend, three kids, and seven animals. It’s definitely a zoo in their house, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Megan joined our team in February 2023. She has always had a love for animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to work with them. Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Brigham Young University in 2018 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2024. She has two furbabies and enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, as well as playing sports.

Casey
Veterinary Assistant

Casey is originally from New Jersey but has lived a majority of her life in South Carolina. She has always had a passion for saving animals and knew that veterinary medicine was where she wanted to be ever since she was a little girl. She loves dental care and dermatology. She enjoys rehabilitating wildlife, raccoons and opossums being her favorite. In her free time, she loves to paint customized cartoon characters and spending time with her kids (both human and fur).

Dispensary Technician

Alivia, a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, joined our team in August 2022, bringing with her over five years of experience. In her free time, Alivia enjoys connecting with nature through hiking, painting, and traveling. She is the proud owner of three cats—Shadow, Willow, and Kiki—and loves them dearly. Originally from Kentucky, Alivia moved to the Lowcountry and is eager to learn and meet as many of our patients as possible!

Mandy joined our team in January 2025. She is married with three children and is the proud owner of four dogs and a chameleon. In her spare time, Mandy enjoys binge-watching Netflix, especially Gilmore Girls, and indulging in crafting.

Tiffany joined our team in April of 2020. Her love for veterinary medicine stemmed from being a kennel tech working in doggie daycares. From then, she knew she wanted to work with animals and she is working towards becoming a licensed veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach/lake and spending time with her family, friends, and 3 dogs.

Tiffany joined our team in 2022 and truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else with her life. She loves the work environment, her coworkers, and, of course, the animals. Tiffany enjoys getting to know everyone who walks through the doors and helping keep their pets happy and healthy. She has three dogs and one cat, and considers most pets that come through the doors a part of her own family, treating them with the same care and affection. Her compassion and empathy shine through in everything she does.

Tara grew up in Gobles, MI. She joined the Navy in 2012, met her husband while stationed in Charleston in 2016. She left the Navy in 2022. Tara and her husband own 1 Husky (Tucker), 2 Great Danes (Cleo, Rhea), 1 Sunglow Boa Constrictor (Lucy), and 1 horse (Stitch). They also have a lovely crazy toddler, Jordy. During their time off, they enjoy relaxing at home together, horseback riding, motorcycle events, and exploring the Charleston area.

Ashton joined our team in June 2020 after relocating to Goose Creek in 2019. She has been working with animals since 2017 and has a deep passion for their care. Ashton is the proud owner of four cats—Wendy, Sabrina, Iris, and Beatrix—and two dogs, Casper and Noli. She is also a Cat-Friendly Professional, dedicated to ensuring a low-stress and compassionate experience for feline patients. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs to the park and visiting zoos and aquariums.

Tina joined our team in December 2024 and resides in Goose Creek with her husband, Carlos, and their two furbabies, Baby Jack and Tux Michael. She has one daughter and three grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and making memories with her family

Shannon has been a valued member of our team since March 2007. She has two children and a wonderful granddaughter. Her family also includes two dogs, Cleopatra and Gemma, and two cats, Bandit and Melon. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys fishing, camping, and spending quality time with her family. When she’s looking for a more relaxed moment, she loves reading a good book at the beach.

Valerie is from the Lowcountry, married with two kids, Nathaen and Samantha. With over eight years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, she transitioned into reception to continue helping pet owners and their animals. She is passionate about educating and interacting with pets and their families. When she is not working, you’ll find her enjoying all things spooky, especially around Halloween. Dogs, cats, and anything Halloween-related make her world complete!

Tammy has been married for over 30 years and is the proud mother of two daughters and four grandsons. She shares her home with three beloved furkids—Sampson, Olive, and Max. Having lived in Japan and the Philippines, she hopes to one day return to visit. Summer is her favorite time of year, and she loves relaxing in the pool with Sampson while enjoying a good book. Spending time with family and creating new memories is something she holds dear.

Amy is a wife and mother of 3. She is a retired hair stylist for 24 years and has been in veterinary medicine for 4 years. Animals have always been her passion and loves being able to care for them day in and day out. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her 3 great danes and miniature dachshund and family.

Rachel was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She started as a kennel technician at a local daycare and did volunteer work at a local equine rescue, which both fueled her passion for animals and pushed her to start working as a veterinary technician in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 4 dogs, friends & family, line dancing, watching college football (Go Tigers), boating, hiking, and really anything to get her outdoors.

Maria grew up in Charleston, SC and met her husband while attending college. They moved to Virginia on military orders in 2018. Maria and her family moved back to Charleston following her husband’s last duty station orders. Maria and her husband have a geriatric Pitbull mix names Maxwell, a feisty-young cat named Pickles, and a very cheeky son named Mason. On their time off together, they love going to the pool/beach, hanging out with close friends, reading, or playing all types of games together!
