If you are in the military and have pets, please be aware that if you are sent to your next duty station - it is your responsibility to make sure your pet is up-to-date and ready to go. There are some places such as Hawaii, Japan, Guam and England which have extremely strict import rules and regulations. There are specific vaccines and bloodwork requirements which need to be done before you leave with your pet - this process can take 4-6 months to complete. If you are not prepared and the animal has not had the proper requirements fulfilled it will be subject to a 120-day quarantine at minimum. Some quarantine stays may be longer and some may be shorter depending on destination. Please contact your military official(s) for the proper paperwork depending on your next assignment, you need to bring this information with you for your visits here. Remember you are responsible to keep up with appointment dates and charges which apply - not only with us but also when you arrive to your destination. Also note, rules and regulations are subject to change depending on what the place of import mandates - we have no control over these changes.
